Maria and I came to the Blue Mountain Lodge to celebrate her birthday. Before we even unpacked we found a gift for her on the pillow. This small gesture exemplifies our stay. Very warm hospitable place. Fantastic view from the Beaver room, we really enjoyed the whole thing. I know personally I was a bit leery at staying at a B&B. After this stay, I would never hesitate to call one again. Thank you for everything!!
Yours truly Brian Hollett Port-aux Basque NF, Maria Brown BC

After the Masters speedskating event on the Olympic Oval (Calgary) we came here for a week of skiing. Louise and Pascal thank you very much for your good tips and your hospitality! We had a wonderful week here and our friends are still jealous on “our” homemade cookies! I’m sure you will make a success of the B.M.L.

Nous venons d’un petit coin en Provence (en France), nous avons beaucoup aimé le Canada et ses grands espaces, la nature est magnifique et les gens très gentils. On a passé un super séjour.

Cindy and Irene - you have both been very gracious hosts this last week.  Thank you for the opportunity to move about the place and see your various rooms.  I especially enjoyed the Beaver Lodge room.  Tres Bien  Brian Hyland

Having been here two years ago we made our way back across the Atlantic ocean from the middle of Germany right to the heart of Canada.  Again we had a wonderful time at the BML including cosy rooms, great hospitality, delicious breakfast and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon when returing from our hiking tours.  Thanks a lot!  Carolin Torsku

Thank you for cosy and really warm atmosphere.  Room #9 is the best! (Cowboy Bunkhouse).  Three nights here felt like the wild wild west - Monika and Henryk

After sleeping in a tent for 5 nights, we can't wait to hop into a comfy bed!  Your B&B has been one of the highlights of our trip.  The cookies were fantastic and your hospitality was second to none.   Adam and Amelie, Montreal QC

Hugh and Irene - You've made a Wisconsin girl completely at home!  Your warm hospitality and cosy rooms ( I got to try 2) truly made my horseback trip a luxury.  I'll be back to see you next summer.  Best wishes, Barbara, Madison Wisconsin

Only one night, but Trapper's Cabin very comfortable with great mountain view.  Breakfast was very good - great idea to help yourself.  Ate at Elk & Oarsman last night on rooftop patio - food very good (so much cheaper than England!) with another great view.  We'll recommend you and Banff.  Thank you  Richard, Wendy, Josh and Olie,  Reading UK

Grady and Mari - We are from San Francisco, California and this is Mari's 2nd vist to the Canadian Rockies - my first!  We really love your beautiful mountains, rivers and forests - but most of all, we've enjoyed meeting you wonderful people of Canada.  Thank you, Irene, for our wonderful stay in your lovely B&B.

Jackie and Arnot stayed here as part of a holiday to celebrate his 70th birthday!  Thank you for helping to make our 3 weeks in Canada very special.  We loved cosy little room 2, our whole experience in Blue Mountain Lodge was so much nicer that our nights in the big "chains"- 2 nights were not enough - maybe we'll be back for his 80th!!  We're from Chelmsford, England.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our recent stay with you at the BML. Our room, the trappers cabin was very unusual (our 2 boys thought it was amazing) and memorable. You made us feel very welcome and took time out to tell us about the attractions to be seen in Banff (and kindly lend my wife your cell phone charger). This is the sort of personal attention that is frequent lacking in some hotels so it was really appreciated. We ended up staying in the BML thanks to the positive comments in Frommers. We stayed in various hotels chosen from the Frommers Guide during our 3 week stay in BC and Alberta, ranging from a room in the Holiday Inn Express to a suite in the Westin hotel in Whistler, but the BML will always will always remain in out memories as it was so unique.

Lovely friendly atmosphere with lots of homely touches not usually found in B&B’s. We found the informality of breakfast and the use of the kitchen to be brilliant. We loved it.
